Privacy Policy

Hanse Media LTD ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We collect only what you give us: typically your name, company, email address and project details submitted through our contact form or by email. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers required to operate our business (such as email and hosting infrastructure), who process it under contract. Data is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact info@hansemedia.co.uk.

Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of this website and, unless superseded by a signed agreement, our engagements. All project work is delivered under a written, fixed-scope proposal that sets out deliverables, timelines, price and payment terms. That proposal, once accepted, forms the contract for the work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing: intellectual property in bespoke work transfers to the client on full payment; we retain the right to reference delivered work in our portfolio; and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

Refunds & Cancellations

Our WordPress and EmDash plugins are downloadable digital products, licensed per domain. A licence key is delivered immediately on payment and cannot be un-issued, so all plugin sales are final: once a key has been issued we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. By completing checkout you ask us to supply the product immediately and acknowledge that you lose the statutory cancellation (cooling-off) right that would otherwise apply to digital content.

This does not affect your legal rights where a plugin is faulty or not as described. If a plugin does not work as described and we cannot fix it for you, contact info@hansemedia.co.uk and we will put it right, up to and including a refund of that licence. Single-plugin licences are billed annually and never renew automatically; the Plugin Suite is a one-time lifetime purchase.
