Organisations reviewing EAA readiness
Establish a documented technical baseline for websites and customer journeys that may fall within the European Accessibility Act, then track changes between scheduled scans.
The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 2025 to many products and services within its scope. EAA runs automated WCAG 2.1 checks, groups findings by page, and exports branded reports for remediation work.

Product guide
EAA is a WordPress and EmDashCMS accessibility audit plugin for developers, agencies and site owners. It scans selected pages for testable WCAG 2.1 issues, groups findings by page and produces a site-wide score and branded report. Australian teams can use the same WCAG-focused testing workflow, while EAA-specific legal applicability remains tied to European markets and must be assessed separately.

Establish a documented technical baseline for websites and customer journeys that may fall within the European Accessibility Act, then track changes between scheduled scans.
Export readable reports with issue locations and remediation notes for clients. Re-scan after changes to show which automated checks improved and which findings remain.
Find recurring problems such as missing labels, contrast failures, absent alternative text and landmark issues before they accumulate across templates and new content.
Practical workflow
Choose public routes and important journeys, then run automated checks against rendered page output. Coverage should include templates, interactive states and error paths, not only the home page.
Review each result at the affected element, separate template defects from content issues and assign remediation work to the team that can change it.
Run the same checks after fixes, compare scores over time and export a branded PDF that records automated findings and remediation notes for stakeholders.
Data handling
The scanner processes the pages selected by the site owner and stores findings needed for reports and comparisons. Protected or customer-specific journeys require deliberate test access and careful handling. Reports may reveal internal URLs or implementation details and should be shared accordingly.
Honest scope
Automated testing detects only a portion of accessibility barriers. It cannot assess every keyboard journey, screen-reader experience, content meaning or legal obligation. EAA reports support remediation work but are not certification, legal advice or proof of complete WCAG conformance.

Checkout optimisation: inline validation, a sticky error bar, postcode lookup, and analytics showing exactly which fields kill conversion.
One UI to learn
EAA shares the suite's admin framework: same sidebar, same toasts, same shortcuts, one parent menu. No telemetry, no nag banners, and it runs independently of the other plugins.
